Cooking…
Cooking? What’s that? This post is really going to be able cooking? This is where people come to hear about sales and digital scrapbook designs not cooking?
Yes, that’s right I am definitely making a post about cooking today, however, I will integrate some fun design news and other scrap related stuff in the post. I promise.
First, my fabulous friend Anne (who helped me code and create this blog to be everything that it is) introduced me to another fantastic blog, the Queen of Quirky (so worth the read if you have any spare time)!
In reading this wonderful new blog I discovered tons of fabulous recipes and even more fun foodie blogs to check out. DH is beyond thrilled because I’ve been cooking up a storm, although perhaps scrapping and designing a bit less. With that in mind I’ve decided I want to try to start combining the two a bit more so expect a fabulous kitchen goodness kit from me and maybe even some CU templates and other element packs to come in the near future.
So you may be wondering what I’ve been cooking? Well the other day I made a delicious chicken baked in fresh garlic, basil, oregano, and parsley and served over a fabulous bruschetta tortellini. Then last night I made this super yummy quesadilla pie from Elise at Simply Recipes. Tonight I am making what I hope will be a delicious tortellini and chicken soup using some of the leftover tortellini, a homemade creamy sauce, peas, carrots, asiago, and parm. I’m going to pair it will a tasty caesar salad and whole clove garlic bread (a must try if you haven’t already). For those that care about the cooking part I took some photos of the pie and it’s accompaniments. I will for sure post them later because it really was amazing.
So the gist of the post is that you may start hearing a bit more from me than just new designs, CT layouts, and sales. You can thank my friend Anne and her friend the Queen of Quirky for that inspiration. I also am making a fabulous new cooking and food related kit plus some matching CU and other stuff. Finally, if you aren’t already in the know you will definitely want to check out the 30% off sale I am having at all of my stores. Keep an eye out because I released some fun new products also. I’ll be posting about those later and there may even be a reveal of my grab bag with Rachael so stay tuned!
